             In a sleepy little town between the metropolises of Medford and Ashland lies a coffee shop that is filled with want-a-be stars or saviors of the world, and just the local clientele and one of the finest Baristas in the area.  The little town is Talent, Oregon and the Coffee shop is The Whistle Stop.

             The owner and star barista has been running the shop on her own for a little over two years.  She has come to Talent from Santa Barbara via Quebec.  So if you speak French and would like to practice a little, stop by for a nice cup of café and wax on about your life.

             The shop attracts a wide assortment of people from the area, many of which are from all over the world or at least their accents and the stories they tell suggest it.  It isn't uncommon to find a core group of people tussling over today’s news or checking in with each other over the local events.

             We specialize in talking to people and making them feel as one of the locals.  There is no Wi-Fi so don't plan on bringing your computer, just plan on coming down having a great coffee drink and an old fashion conversation… or just read the newspaper in the corner, its all good at the  The Whistle Stop.
